This course teaches hands on skills and training for basic Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) including Adult, Child, and Infant, with use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). The American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) is endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) and adheres to guidelines for cardiovascular care (ECC). First Aid includes treatment recommendations for Emergency action using Universal precautions with emphasis on environmental safety.

The 2 year certification (with card) is accepted for job employment.

Additional Details: Wear comfortable clothing and bring a bag lunch.

*Bonus: Leaders of troops of Juniors, Cadettes, or Seniors who complete this course qualify to have an instructor come to a troop meeting to train girls in "CPR for Family and Friends" free of charge! See instructor for details.



Barn: Riding Lesson, On-site registration ONLY - Members

Riding Lessons are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays and must be scheduled in advance by calling the equestrian manager at (813) 417-9583.
All ages and levels of experience are welcome. Riders may weigh no more than 250lbs.

Particpants are encouraged to come early to help ready their horse and may stay after to care for the horse. Lesson time begins when riding begins. $20/hr for Girl Scouts members.

This program is for girls who want to learn more about horses and improve their riding skills. Workshop (9:30 a.m. mto 4 p.m.) includes hands-on learning in the barn, and riding in the arena and on our scenic trails. Adults must pay registration fee if riding. Note: The pre-requisite for this program is Horse Kicks I.  $25/person
