This 2 hour interactive webinar course will build your core leadership knowledge. Some of the topics that will be covered are: The 3 Processes of Girl Scouting (Girl Led, Learning by Doing and Cooperative Learning,) the Volunteer Tool Kit, and GS Resources e.g. Volunteer Essentials and the Safety Activity Checkpoints. We will discuss your first meeting and how to involve your girls’ parents.

This training is for adults leading and assisting troops.

Summer Group Camping Week 1 6/30/19-7/5/19

New this summer, Troop and Family camping! This experience is ideal for girls who want to give summer camp a try, but would benefit from having a familiar adult with them. It’s also a great chance for a group of girls who want to bond even more as a troop to get outdoors and try something new. Girls will till step outside their comfort zones, take risks, and grow as leaders. The possibilities are endless. Please make sure to indicate your troop number or group leader name in the Special Needs section of the registration.

You bring the girls and the leaders (or any adult member); we will provide you with all the camp magic, leadership experiences, high adventure, and badge workshops that Sacy is known for delivering in the past. All groups are required to bring enough adults to meet any minimum ratios for the entire week.

Leaders will come away from their week at camp being fulling Outdoor Trained, with the option to become American Archery Association Level 1 Archer.
