Junior Level & Above

Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) is a USA Archery program designed to teach archery to people ages 8 to 20. The program is taught by certified instructors and coaches. Archers begin by learning range safety and proper shooting technique in an environment that fosters focus self-confidence and team-building skills. JOAD is designed to monitor and enhance each archer’s growth and development in this great sport; the introductory classes naturally progress from beginner skills to advanced techniques. 

Beginners earn their first pins. Intermediate JOAD archers will earn pins 4 and above.

Fall Dates: 9/23, 9/30, 10/8, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4

Calling all campers! Join other G.I.R.L.s who love to be outside in this two-year interest group to plan camping trips, near and far. Together we’ll journey to new camping destinations and experience all types of camping, including backcountry adventures!

This is the registration fee of our two-year program, at which time the group will determine a schedule for future monthly meeting dates. The once-yearly registration cost will cover our first outings together, and you’ll earn money to help defray the cost of a bigger trip in 2020.

This free two-hour orientation prepares Cadettes to brainstorm, develop and implement a successful Silver Award project, and teaches adults how best to support them. Learn about the optional Silver Award project pre-approval process. One adult per troop must attend. Parents are welcome. Prerequisites: Complete one Cadette Journey, including a Take Action project.
