Earn the Oceanography patch as you explore the rocky shore, visit touch tank animals, and tour the facilities and grounds of the Northeastern University Marine Science Center, housed in a World War II military bunker. In this five week online journey, girls will log in on Tuesday nights and join GSEMA in learning about how a computer communicates and responds. Girls will learn coding basics and be led week to week through their Think Like a Programmer journey ending with the creation of their take action plan.

Become an Eco-Explorer by exploring the biodiversity at Tidmarsh Wildlife Sanctuary, why it matters, and how you can help! We will explore the sanctuary’s various habitats and learn about the species that depend on them, as well as perform a service project (to be decided between troop leader and sanctuary staff) to benefits local wildlife. Volunteer supervision required. Girls will earn the Eco-Explorer badge in this program.
