This free two-hour orientation prepares Cadettes to brainstorm, develop and implement a successful Silver Award project, and teaches adults how best to support them. Learn about the optional Silver Award project pre-approval process. One adult per troop must attend. Parents are welcome. Prerequisites: Complete one Cadette Journey, including a Take Action project. Volunteer* supervision required.

*Please Note: Volunteers must be at least 18 year old, and a registered adult member of Girl Scouts with a current, eligible Criminal Background Check in order to attend this event. Join SUPfari Adventures for a unique outdoor water sports activity combining standup paddle boarding, swimming, education and adventure for all ages and skill levels. Classes are taught by Cape Cod's only instructors trained by the American Canoe Association, Professional Standup Paddle Association and American Red Cross. Choose the level session (I or II) that's right for you. Level I classes are for first-time paddlers or ages 9 - 10. Level II classes are for groups who have paddled with SUPfari before and want to learn more.

This course is offered in two parts: an online program and a hands-on skills session with an instructor. The online portion must be completed prior to the in-person session, and both portions must be completed for certification. Certification is valid for two years.
