Learn the basics of using a bow and arrow, and the importance of range safety from a trained facilitator. Aim for a bullseye and practice hitting a target in groups of four to six. Volunteer supervision required.

Earn the Oceanography patch as you explore the rocky shore, visit touch tank animals, and tour the facilities and grounds of the Northeastern University Marine Science Center, housed in a World War II military bunker. Looking for a fun and challenging water sport? Try windsurfing! Learn the basics of windsurfing, including the parts of the board and sail. Try balancing on the boards, then add a sail to see where the wind takes you. Prerequisite: You must be comfortable swimming in water over your head while wearing a personal flotation device. Volunteer supervision required.

Take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard for a weekend of island camping! Fill your weekend with trips to lighthouses, the beach, an alpaca farm, and more! Spend nights at Camp Wampanoag in either platform tents or an open-air cabin. Round-trip van transportation between the ferry station, camp, and excursion locations is provided.
