Farnsworth Weekend 2015 - September 11, 12 and 13, 2015

Life was meant for Outdoor Adventures

Farnsworth Weekend is an energizing and informative weekend where you can learn new skills, games, songs, or just relax and have fun. New to Girl Scouts? Join Us. Meet other Girl Scout volunteers, share experiences, and exchange ideas. Bring a friend to share this experience! Open to all Girl Scout adults and girls in grades 10-12.


Basic Outdoor Living Skills (BOLS)-Camp Seawood 9/15/15 and 10/3-10/4/15

This two-part course is for leaders who plan to take girls hiking, camping or cooking outdoors. You must attend both the preplan session and the overnight session. Preplan is September 15 from 6-9 pm at Camp Seawood in Portsmouth, NH.  The overnight is 8:30am Oct 3 to noon Oct 4 at Camp Seawood in Portsmouth.

This course is for leaders who plan to take girls hiking, camping or cooking outdoors. You must attend the entire weekend to receive credit for both the preplan and overnight course.

For Girl Scout Cadettes (Grades 6-8).  Safe Sitter® teaches young teens (ages 11-13) everything they need to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Girls will learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who’s choking, and helpful information like how to prevent injuries and how to get help if needed.

Price increases to $81 per girl after 8/22/15 if space is available.

Learn how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults and children, including the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). Also, how to respond to common first aid emergencies, including burns, cuts, head, neck and back injuries and more.
