Grades in Fall of 2013: 4-12

This weekend is perfect for girls who have riding experience or have done Horse Tails or the Introductory Horse Camp for Troops. Troops work with horses in small groups to practice saddling, bridling and hitching horses. They learn to mount and dismount correctly, and turn and stop a horse on command at a walk and trot. Girls ride through camp on a trail and learn more about horse anatomy, equipment and grooming. Each girl has four hours of horse time, including two hours on a horse. Adults must attend but they do not ride.

To register for camp, you will need to log in with the girl's account and member information. If your girl is not already a Girl Scout member, you will need to register her before signing up for camp.
