Girls start their travels at Lakeside Cabin in Norht Platte with a team of horses and a wagon carrying all of their gear. We walk to our destination then we set up camp for the night.  The next day, history buffs from the Lincoln County Historical Museum teach us skills that the pioneers needed for survival on their trek across America.  We will learn how to churn butter, how to tack on a horseshoe, grind corn, and hear from a Moutain Man on what it was like to live and travel on the praries of Nebraska.  We return to Lakeview to celebrate with Family and friends. The evening celebration includes a Bar-B-Que and square dancing.

The Bar-B-Que and square dance for family members is $8.00/per person payable at the door.
