The Simple Camping course provides instruction on identifying the differences between girl and adult responsibilities; evaluating readiness of girls for a camping experience; processing required council forms and documents; reviewing Safety Wise Activity checkpoints and cooking food using various methods. 

This training is valid for a period of three years. The $6 fee for this training covers the cost of the food prepared for the outdoor cooking portion. 

The prerequisite for this class requires the completion of the Independent Study courses Simple Overnight and Moving Away From Your Meeting Place.  The booklet and exam are available online.
