Join the LOOP NOLA team for a day of exploration and education in the wetlands of Bayou St. John! Come canoe in Bayou St. John and learn about the plants and animals that play a vital role in southeast Louisiana’s habitat. Participate in team-building games and activities directly relating to the ecology surrounding you. Through hands-on activities, girls will experience methods commonly used in water quality testing and wetland conservation. Take this opportunity to explore a little used area of New Orleans and learn more about your role in protecting our wetlands! If this special date does not work for you, or it fills up quickly, please contact Heather West at to establish your own troop outing.

Note:  Girls and adults should wear closed toe shoes and dress in comfortable clothing that they do not mind getting a little dirty.  LOOP NOLA will have ice water, sun block, bug spray, and a med kit on site.  If possible, girls and adults should bring a reusable water bottle along with lunches and any snacks that they may want.
