Junior Jam is a 2 night camping experience for Junior Girls. Saturday morning is a camping skills competition in tent set up, knife usage, fire safety, knots, lashing, compass, maps, first aid, girl scout knowledge, Leave No Trace, flag etiquette and campsite inspection.

The afternoon continues with games and a costume parade. Evening campfire includes Smores and skits or songs.

Sunday is the leader event, awards and Scouts Own.

Troops will be sharing campsites.

Attention Troop Leaders Orientation Meetings on 1-18-13 and 2-15-13.

CPR certification good for two years.

2 year First Aid Certication through the American Red Cross.  Cost incudes book and card fees.  This is a hands-on class.  You may bring a towel or small blanket for the floor. CPR is NOT included in this class.

Must be pre-registered and paid. Late arrivals must be turned away per Red Cross Rules.

Participants will learn to respond to breathing/cardiac emergencies in adults and children, how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.  Instruction includes how to recognize and respond to sudden illnesses and injuries such as:  bleeding control, burns, shock prevention, fractures, etc.  Upon completion, participants receive a  2-year certificate in First Aid and 2-year certificate in Adult, Child CPR/AED.

Our annual camporee is a chance for girls to experience a large group camping trip as well as the beach environment. It is planned and run by older girls which allows them leadership experience that grows year to year. There are Saturday am activities, campfire, flag retirement, smores and lots of beach time!

Girls-bring your favorite hero-Dad, Grand-Dad, Brother, Uncle, etc to enjoy the great outdoors, get in shape and honor Father's Day.

A non-competitive parade within the Central West Community.  All Girl Scout age levels are encouraged to attend. We will march in the parade and show the Community how strong our Girl Scouts are.

Entering grades 4-9

Kayaking, Canoeing, Rock Climbing and more.  Where will you explore outdoors?  Do you want to spend all your time at the water?  Or hang out as the only unit in camp?  Or maybe in the mountains by a lake?  In this new program girls who register by March 21^st get to help decide.  Only you and your teammates can decide.

Entering grades 6-12

Take the challenge of the Urban Adventure hunt as we explore the city of San Diego.  Crack codes and ferret out clues to determine the next place to go as you ride the bus, take the trolley or use your own two feet to explore from shore to peak in this urban quest.

Looking for a soaking good time – then this 3-day rafting experience is a trip you’ll never forget.  Have fun as swift currents and rapids push you and your new friends down the river.  Enjoy great meals cooked for you and swim in the lazy parts of the river.

Welcome to the second annual day full of skill building and thrilling activities for girls and adults. Included experiences are rock climbing for all, dutch oven cooking, Leave No Trace, Team Building, Investiture Ceremony, full filled competitions and singing around the campfire. Optional overnight available. Cost is $10 per troop. Please add to leader's registration or Adult attending only.
