| Ready to step out on a great adventure, but sleep in a soft bed? This hiking adventure to the Giant Sequoias will offer the grand hiking of the Sierras along with the comfortable amenities of nights at Wuksachi Lodge. We’ll explore the easy trails of the Giant Forest, then take some longer, and more vigorous, day hikes along the High Sierra Trail and up into the high alpine country. We’ll learn about traveling safely in bear country, what makes the sequoiadendron giganteum such an amazing species, and whet your appetite for more Sierra adventures. This trip is appropriate for hikers who are ready for 8 – 10 mile days on the trail. |
