This training is for NEW ADULT volunteers wanting to be a leader or co-leader or working with the girls. The training will include starting a troop, working with girls.
Pre-requisite: A Volunteer application must be submitted to GSSGC to take this course.

CPR certification good for two years.
2 year First Aid Certication through the American Red Cross. Cost incudes book and card fees. This is a hands-on class. You may bring a towel or small blanket for the floor. CPR is NOT included in this class.
Must be pre-registered and paid. Late arrivals must be turned away per Red Cross Rules.
Participants will learn to respond to breathing/cardiac emergencies in adults and children, how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. Instruction includes how to recognize and respond to sudden illnesses and injuries such as: bleeding control, burns, shock prevention, fractures, etc. Upon completion, participants receive a 2-year certificate in First Aid and 2-year certificate in Adult, Child CPR/AED.
