Did you know, there are five ways to participate in the Girl Scout Travel Pathway? You may participate in one, many or all ways - YOU choose! You may be in a troop and participate and likewise, may not be in a troop - either way, the choice is yours. All "travelers" must be registered Girl Scouts (girls and adults).
* Attend/participate in monthly phone conference meetings
* Travel *locally with the group (summer trips)
* Travel internationally with the group (summer trips)
* Travel with girls from other Councils (as advertised)
* Travel by applying for GSUSA Destinations
How do you get started? It's easy! Sign up by emailing your request to travel@gsnim.org. Once your request is received you will be sent a welcome letter with an invite to JOIN THE CONVERSATION during our monthly phone conference meetings starting in April 2013. The purpose of our meetings is so that we can plan our local trips as a group and discuss information about traveling opportunities offered by other Councils and Destinations trips offered by GSUSA.
This is a gilr lead pathway that allows girls to plan where they want to go and what they want to do when they get there. If traveling is your thing, you will want to be a part of the fun we have! JOIN US TODAY!
Travel Pathway is for girls in **4th - 12th grade.
*Locally is defined as within the United States
**4th graders may travel locally only. Girls must be in 6th grade to travel internationally.
