Geocaching and Letterboxing Course Description

Framed by the new badges in the Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting, learn how to facilitate your girls' geocaching, letterboxing, and map and compass experiences. Learn how to use a GPS receiver or a magnetic compass and topographic map to find your way. Discover the ins-and-out of swaps, travel bugs, and multi-caches. Learn to support your girls as they letterbox and discover the fun! All topic areas are aligned to one of more of the new Girl Scout program badge requirements.

This training is required in order to reserve council GPS units.
