Girl Scouts — North Carolina Coastal Pines is excited to present our Spring 2013 Discover Girl Scouts! This spring, girls from Kindergarten through 12th grade will have the opportunity to participate in activities focusing being health on the inside and outside.

The cost of this program is $30, but if you register before February 28,2013, your cost will be $20! The program fees include Girl Scout Membership dues ($12), a participation patch, and three packets of activities. Your Girl Scout Membership opens up a new world of fun, friends, opportunities and possibilities. Girls will learn more about the Girl Scout program and choose the adventures they wish to take within the program.

• Packet 1– Girl Scout Values- This packet introduces participants to the values of Girl Scouting by providing activities which revolve around the values of the organization and what girls around the world are doing.
• Packet 2– Being a Sister to Every Girl Scout– One of the keys to Girl Scouting is being a sister to one and all. In this packet work on healthy relationships as girls explore the world of sisterhood and get helpful hints and tips about how you can be a sister to every girl.
• Packet 3– Be Active and Fit! - Did you know that one of the first activities Girl Scouts did was play basketball? In this packet, explore the physical side of health as you do activities that will get you up and moving while learning more about Girl Scouting and the adventures you can have!
