Girl Scout Camp Robbinswold is located on Hood Canal, in the shadow of the Olympic Mountains near Lilliwaup, Washington. Its 540 acres include a mile of saltwater beachfront, perfect for beach walks and exploration. The waterfront is the center for many water-based programs, including marine biology, sea kayaking, windsurfing and sailing. The camp also holds a secluded freshwater lake and forested hills, with small streams and mossy paths. It is a safe place to discover new friends or connect with old ones.
Campers are able to participate in swimming, nature programs, arts and crafts, boating, campfires, cookouts, hiking and sleeping under the stars (girls in 4th grade and above will go on an overnight on our upper property, or by Hood Canal). All programs are weather permitting.
In order to attend Girl Scouts of Western Washington camps, campers must meet the following essential functions.
•Capable of mainstream in the public school system (does not require one-on-one guidance)
•Moves independently from place to place
•Effectively interacts in a group, based on program content
•Is able to meet personal needs (bathing, toileting, dressing, diet management etc.)
•Capable of self-management of chronic illnesses
