If you would like to discuss your dietary needs, please contact Chrissa Dean at the Cincinnati regional office (513-489-1025 or chrissadean@girlscoutsofwesternohio.org) no later than March 29, 2013.

Will inclement weather affect workshops and/or sleeping arrangements?

In the event of rain (or snow), outdoor workshops could potentially be affected. Most will continue and all weekend participants are strongly encouraged to come prepared for any situation. Any weekend participant who registers for an outdoor workshop will be contacted by a member of the planning committee to identify an alternative workshop, in case of inclement weather. Please see workshop descriptions for outdoor workshops that will go on rain or shine and register accordingly. Sleeping arrangements will only be affected in extreme circumstances as most lodge accommodations will be at maximum capacity. Tent campers know to come prepared for a variety of circumstances.

Can I attend the weekend if I have physical limitations?

Yes. You will have the option to include information on your registration as well as your health history form as to any physical limitations or medical concerns. Please list if you require a bottom bunk, a wheelchair accessible bathroom/shower, assistance moving from location to location, etc. Camp Whip Poor Will’s dining hall and Evergreen lodge are ADA compliant

Can I transfer my registration to someone else if I can’t attend?

No. Due to the registration process, we are unable to transfer registrations. You will need to cancel your registration and in the event that the event was closed due to capacity being reached, we will contact interested volunteers who have been placed on a waiting list to take your spot.
