Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:

  To serve God
    and my country,
To help people at all times,
  And to live by the
    Girl Scout Law.

(When making the GS Promise, individual members may substitute wording appropriate to their own spiritual beliefs for the word “God.”)

GS101 - Girl Scouts 101

All GSSEM volunteers are encouraged to take this course.  It is required for troop leaders and co-leaders.  This nationally consistent web-based orientation covers information about the Girl Scout mission, traditions, and history, as well as about our founder, Juliette Low. It reviews the Promise and Law, girl/adult partnership, and helpful resources available to volunteers.
