Before registering your participation of the Jump into Journeys troop/leader patch program make sure Leaders and Troop members have completed the following;

1.     Leaders:
     • Completed the Girl Scouting 101 online training
     • Reviewed the interactive Journey maps at http://girlscouts.org/program/journeys/maps.asp
     • Explored the Journey descriptions on GSUSA website
     • Read through the grade level Guide for your  troop to familiarize yourself with the activities and gather the materials needed to complete them
     • Fostered the Girl Led, Learning by Doing, and Cooperative Learning processes as you sampled the Journeys

2.     Girls in Troop:
     • Sampled each of the Journeys through the activities in the Guides
     • Picked a journey book to explore all the way through using Girl Led, Cooperative Learning methodology

If you have completed these steps the please proceed to registering your troop’s participation using the instructions below.

To register your troop’s participation and receive your patch:
     1. Go to Troop Management  *If you are a Juliette participating in this program, please skip to step 3 and proceed from there
     2. Check off the participants
     3. Choose “Purchase or Register for” from the Actions Drop Down Menu
     4. Type “Jump” into the search bar and choose “Jump Into Journeys” from the search results 
     5. Add to Cart
     6. Check Out
     7. Print the Order Summary page
     8. Bring the Order Summary page to the Council shop to receive your patches

The Jump into Journeys Activity Patch Program runs through June 30, 2013.
